A method for preparing graphene sheets, the method comprising the steps of: 5 oxidizing a graphitic structure having a turbostratic structure, wherein the oxidation ste p is carried out by immersing the graphitic structure in h y dro g en peroxide, not using one of the g roup consisting of sulfuric acid, potassium permanganate, carboxylic acid, and formic acid 10 and ultrasonically treating the immersed graphitic structure; subjecting the oxidized graphitic structure immersed in h y dro g en peroxide to microwave irradiation; and sonicating a few-layer graphene obtained by the 15 microwave irradiation step, whrenthte oxdto tep is caridou yimesn pe rmangana te, carb oxyl IC acid, and formic acid and 20 ultrasonically treating the immersed graphitic structure wherein the concentration of h y dro g en peroxide used in the oxidation ste p is 30-40%.

  The method of claim 1, wherein the microwave 30 irradiation step is carried out at 150-550 W for 50-150 seconds after placing the oxidized graphitic structure in a 1 Att'y Docket: 2128.030 microwave oven.

  The method of claim 1, wherein the sonication step is carried out by dispersing the few-layer graphene in an alcohol solvent and subjecting the dispersion to strong sonication for 60-240 minutes.
