The paper develops a weak-coupling theory for an intervalley charge-density-wave instability in a double-well dispersive valence-band system motivated by rhombohedral graphene trilayer. It analyzes a regime with inner electron-like and outer hole-like Fermi surfaces, derives an effective bosonic order-parameter description, and discusses how finite-momentum intervalley coherence produces metallic and excitonic components, Fermi arcs, and non-Drude conductance corrections with distinct transport exponents.
